I remember well,
The night when we implored,
With secrets deep within our hearts,
That would not be ignored.
In a burst of subtle passion,
Two hearts became entwined,
Together in the moment,
One body and one mind.
Lost inside your gaze,
Inner feelings of the soul,
They called to one another,
Our halves then formed a whole.
Love surged through us,
Though nothing went our way,
Your hand was firmly wrapped in mine,
At the end of the that special day.
And when we had to part,
I knew I'd never feel the same,
Because there'll never be enough water,
To put out this burning flame.
